More than 1,500 years ago the legendary Hebrew physician, scholar and teacher, Assaf Harofeh, (Assaf, the doctor) created an oath for those who should choose to pursue the art of healing. His words still serve as an inspiration for the Center which bears his name.

Assaf Harofeh Medical Center is an internationally recognized, major medical facility providing a comprehensive range of medical services. In addition to caring for the regional population, the facility serves a growing number of patients from abroad who seek the optimum in health care.

The hospital is also a teaching and training center, affiliated with the Tel Aviv University Sacker of Medicine, and a rehabilitation and research facility.  Centrally located on a green 60 acre campus just 15 minutes from Tel Aviv and 40 minutes from Jerusalem,  The Medical Center is in close proximity to Ben Gurion Airport.
