| The transformation of this 60 acre hospital into today's modern Assaf Harofeh Medical Center represents years of dedicated effort by a highly skilled staff, and the caring generosity of the worldwide Friends organization. However, despite the inauguration of a number of new buildings, much remains to be done. If AHMC is to meet the challenges of caring for the region's population, expected to exceed 500.000 by the year 2000, it must completely rely on its Friends. |
