The operation is arthroscopically assisted</font></font></font></b> <br><b><font face="Arial,Helvetica"><font color="#000066"><font size=-1>(as described by Howell) with minimal scars.</font></font></font></b> <br><b><font face="Arial,Helvetica"><font color="#000066"><font size=-1>Autologus Hamstring tendons are harvested from </font></font></font></b> <br><b><font face="Arial,Helvetica"><font color="#000066"><font size=-1>the affected knee and used to replace the <a href="def_pcl.htm" target="_top">ACL</a>, </font></font></font></b> <br><b><font face="Arial,Helvetica"><font color="#000066"><font size=-1>after proper canals are drilled in the femur and tibia. Post operative regime is based on full weight bearing and continuous passive motion (CPM).</font></font></font></b> <br><b><font face="Arial,Helvetica"><font color="#000066"><font size=-1>No brace is needed. Four days Hospitalization.
